MYSCOPE™ Terms and conditions
1.0 What is MYSCOPE™ for?
MYSCOPE™ allows organisations to make better decisions by showing how they or their brands are perceived in direct and simultaneous comparison with competitors.
2.0 MYSCOPE™ Principles
MYSCOPE™ will always respect and appreciate the participation of the general public, its registered “members” and its sponsoring client organisations.
2.1 MYSCOPE™ registered membership is open to all adults aged 18 and over, worldwide. There is no charge for taking part in any MYSCOPE™ survey. A choice of worthwhile prizes will be offered to registered members on a monthly basis of one prize per current running MYSCOPE™. These prizes will be offered for taking part either in public surveys on the myscope.com website, or in confidential activity for a certain client. Prize winners for the previous month will be selected at random on the first day of each calendar month and will be notified by email and telephone within 7 days. Winners will be asked to select their chosen prize from those available at that time (all of which are described in detail on the MyscopeTM website). Details of previous winners (on a basis of initials and residential town only) will be available upon request. Those prize winners which are willing to do so may also appear pictured and/or quoted on the myscope.com website.

2.2 MYSCOPE™ will act at all times within the Code of Conduct of the UK Market Research Society –see http://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/codeconduct.htm
2.3 MYSCOPE™ is registered under the UK Data Protection Act, registration Number Z9783613 and operates on a 100% “opt in” basis. All member data will remain strictly confidential* and secure, and will only be used in aggregate e.g. “mothers of children under 5 see Brand X as … “. The personal details of any individual registered member will never be passed onto any other organisation for commercial gain; neither will the Myscope.com website be used to carry advertisements nor sponsored links.
2.4 Sponsoring Clients may opt to take part in “omnibus” type shared surveys, usually on the myscope.com website, or to commission unique survey work. Information gathered during omnibus surveys will be shared in aggregate only equally by all participating clients in respect of the brands which they have selected for analysis only (either their own or competitors’). This omnibus information will also be available for purchase in future periods by other parties by way of historical/trend analysis. Private commissioned research will, however only ever be made available to the original commissioning client.

3.0 Prize Draw Rules
3.1 The availability of prizes and any special restrictions will be described in detail on the Myscope.com website, and members should check this thoroughly. For example some "experiences" can only currently be undertaken at certain locations in the UK-although open to any member worldwide to win. Prizes unless stated otherwise do not include travel to the location, meals, accommodation nor any special clothing or equipment required. Any such latter requirements will however always be stated clearly in advance within the prize description.
3.2 Every endeavour will be made to ensure that all prizes offered are available as described. In the event of any particular prize not being available or failing to provide the promised elements, then another choice from other equivalent prizes will be offered free of charge.
3.3 Prize-winners will be required to allow their identity to be used in initials and residential town only (eg “Miss R. D. of Cardiff”) in respect of any official notification of prize winners. This data in this form will be available on request to any enquirer. Prize winners will also be invited to provide feedback as to their satisfaction with the prize/experience as part of Myscope.com performance monitoring, and any photographs etc as may be available from the event. That feedback may be used, with permission, in PR and on the myscope.com website.
3.4 Prizes will not be available to any employees of Myscope.com, its parent company DRG Marketing Ltd, its suppliers or agents.
3.5 One prize entry will be allocated automatically on participation in each separate MYSCOPE™ survey running during any particular month. Multiple entries to the same MYSCOPE™ are prohibited. Only one prize may be won by any member during any one month period.
3.6 All prizes will be deemed to have been awarded to the registered member whose name and details were entered at time of initial registration or during any subsequent update carried out by that member. Prize-winners will be notified by e-mail and required to confirm identity by acceptance from that e-mail address. Prize-winners will also be asked to confirm the postal address to which their prize should be sent. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of award. Where it is necessary to make booking arrangements e.g. with the venue for an appropriate day, then this will be the responsibility of the prize winner and where required this must be carried out within a stated period. Although all prizes will have been purchased through a responsible source, MYSCOPE™ cannot accept responsibility for the personal safety of participants or spectators at any event or for personal goods etc. All restrictions stated by the venue, such as eg no child spectators, the use of appropriate clothing etc where this is necessary must be strictly adhered to.
4.0 Members Obligations
4.1 Members undertake never to provide false or misleading information and in particular not to register under a false identity. Such action will lead to removal from MYSCOPE™. Any prizes awarded under such circumstances will be null and void. Members are responsible for keeping their personal details up to date so as to ensure safe receipt of any prize notification.
4.2 Members are responsible for keeping their password secure and confidential. Use of a member’s email and password by any other individual is strictly prohibited and will render any prizes awarded null and void.
4.3 Members will only have one registration with Myscope.com, even if they have more than one valid e-mail address. Members will not use any form of device to generate entries. Such practices will lead to immediate disqualification and any prizes awarded will be null and void.
4.4 Membership is prohibited to persons employed in the Market Research industry and to the employees of and suppliers to DRG Marketing Ltd. Entry into any MYSCOPE™ containing particular companies or brands is prohibited to anyone employed by those companies or brands.
5.0 MYSCOPE™ Obligations
5.1 MYSCOPE™ undertakes to cease e-mailing any member should this be requested at any time. Such an opt-out will always be available on any e-mail communication.
5.2 All personal details of all registered members remain confidential for all time (see section 2.2). Data will only ever be provided to sponsoring clients on the basis of no personal identification.
5.3 Myscope.com is a division of DRG Marketing Ltd and operates under the Laws of England and Wales. Its registered office address is DRG Marketing Ltd, Coaley, Glos, GL11 5ED, England. Reg No 5990439. All official correspondence should be sent to this address. Queries or complaints should be addressed to The Managing Director.
6.0 The MYSCOPE™ Process
6.1 The MYSCOPE™ data collection process is patent applied for and is protected worldwide. All unauthorised use of this or a similar process is strictly prohibited and appropriate action will be taken in any such event. Applications for licensed use of the MYSCOPE™ process in any world territory should be addressed by post to the Managing Director, DRG Marketing Ltd at the address given in 5.3 above.
6.2 All contents of the Myscope.com website and associated literature are copyright of DRG Marketing Ltd.
6.3 All usage of 3rd party trademarks within Myscope surveys will be as permitted within section 11 of the Trade Marks Act 1994 and will be purely for the purposes of fair comparison.
7.0 Purchase and Use of MYSCOPE™ Data
7.1 The purchase and use of MYSCOPE™ data by commissioning clients is governed under the terms and conditions of DRG Marketing Ltd -see the separate DRG Marketing website www.drgmarketing.co.uk.
