MYSCOPE™ Privacy Policy

MYSCOPE™ and its owner DRG Marketing Ltd consider the security of your information to be of utmost importance. By participating in MYSCOPE™ surveys you will not be providing data that will lead to sales calls, mailings, e-mailings or any other intrusion of your privacy. Your information will always be stored in a secure isolated environment that conforms to all required standards.

1.0 DRG Marketing is registered under the UK. Data Protection Act 1998, registration number Z9783613, and complies with all aspects of the Act. (For more information on the Act see the website of the Information Commissioner’s Office website www.ico.gov.uk).

2.0 DRG Marketing does not sell lists, accept onscreen advertising or generate any revenue from the data that is collected via this site apart from:

  • Reporting results of surveys in aggregate (e.g. “mothers with children under 5 thought X was a useful product, scoring it …………………..”)
  • Quoting verbatim but unattributed (e.g. One respondent wrote that “Y was the funniest show they had ever viewed”).

3.0 The only persons who have limited access to parts of our database are:

  • Pre-approved employees of DRG Marketing Ltd and its associate companies for the purposes of administration and support, and processes such as notifying winners of our various draws.
  • Clients of DRG Marketing Ltd who will only be able to access data in aggregate, not by individual respondent.

4.0 DRG Marketing Ltd employees receive copies of this privacy policy as part of employee training. DRG Marketing Ltd would consider any violation to be a serious infringement of its terms of employment.

5.0 DRG Marketing will not contact individuals by e-mail without their prior consent e.g. to participate in one of its review panels or other testing procedures. Participants will always be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving further messages each time.

6.0 It will be a condition of participation in Myscope that the respondent is aged 18 years or more. Although it is not practical to verify on registration, proof of age may be required before the allocation of prizes under the Myscope prize draws, especially those of a participative nature. The winner of any prize draw will always be considered to be the person over 18 who has registered their name, address and other details, and who has been allocated a secure personal password. Any requests for information under the Data Protection Act will require verification of that identity e.g. by way of secure personal details previously provided, and other means.
